Classmates:
It
is my pleasure to inform you that our Class has elected Jay Green to
serve as our president for the next five (5) years effective January 1,
2015.
I
spoke to both Jay and Dick Curley, our two candidates for Class
president this morning to personally inform them of the voting
results. Jay was humble and honored in receiving the news of his
election and Dick was gracious in extending his congratulations to Jay.
Dick indicated he plans to continue his volunteer service to the
Class as a board member if so elected at our next annual meeting.
Please
join me in thanking both Jay and Dick for their for their past
service and their commitment to serve the Class in the future.
Our Class website electronic poll opened on July 21st and closed at midnight on September 8th.
53.6% of our classmates voted. Thanks to the company reps for getting
the vote out and thanks to all classmates who voted. Results were
recorded electronically and reported this morning by Scott Bushnell,
Steve Claassen and Bernie Maguire who reviewed the vote and confirmed
its accuracy. Thanks to these gentlemen for establishing the voting poll
and conducting the vote; and to Bernie Maguire, his committee
members Ed Farrell and Mike Farmer for serving as our candidate
nominating committee. Well done! Bravo Zulu to all classmates for a an
outstanding job!
Please join me in congratulating Jay and offer your support of him as he takes the Class helm in 2015.
Very best regards,
Bill
