Dear Classmates, March 3, 2018 The purpose of this letter is to update you on the preparations for our 55th Reunion and encourage you to save the date and make plans to attend. We’re planning to have a quality reunion and keep the cost as reasonable as possible. Our 55th Reunion will take place on a non-homecoming weekend in Annapolis, Thursday 3 October through Sunday 6 October 2019. The schedule of reunion events is posted on our Class Website and is highlighted below: --Check-in and registration at the Doubletree Hotel off Riva Road from Thursday 0900-1700 and also on Friday from 0800-1200. --Golf outing on Thursday beginning at 1100. --No host reception with heavy hors d’ouvres and a cash bar on Thursday. --Friday will include a briefing from the Superintendent, a Dress Parade and company time in the evening. --Saturday will feature our Class business meeting at 1100 at the Doubletree followed by the Tailgate at the Stadium starting at 1330 with kickoff at 1530 against the Air Force Academy. More company time will be available after the game. --On Sunday we will end our Reunion with a 1300 Memorial Service at the Main Chapel. We have booked blocks of rooms at the Double Tree and we are working to secure a block of rooms at The Waterfront Marriot. We anticipate that the hotels will begin accepting reservations on 1 September 2018. More detailed information on hotel reservations, other area hotels, football tickets and Reunion costs will be forthcoming. Please note that we have not included a dinner dance for this reunion to give us the availability of company time on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Please plan to join the “Great Class of 1964” in Annapolis for our 55th, an event that will only be special if we all show up. Joe Stewart, Reunion Committee Chairman Jay Green, Class President
